The Training Service
During 2008, Three Counties Payroll launched its Training facility. We are an accredited
Training Centre by the IAB (International Association of Book-Keepers). Indeed we
are the only Training Centre in Gloucestershire to offer all of the Payroll/Book-Keeping
courses designed by the IAB.
After seven years of successfully teaching Payroll/Book-keeping in local colleges,
Pauline has seen an opportunity which really does set Three Counties Payroll apart
from the rest. Very few, if any, organisations such as ours offer Training as part
of their make-up.
Our students come from a variety of backgrounds:
- Employed in a completely different sector and seeking a career-change.
- Unemployed and seeking re-training and qualifications.
- Taking care of their young children and seeking qualifications to re-enter the employment
market.
- Employed in this sector and seeking to increase skills and qualifications to enhance
career prospects.
Our training suite is modern and fully air-conditioned with a maximum capacity of
ten students. For the courses involving IT, you will be provided with a PC and the
Sage software to use in the classroom.
We find our students adore the environment in which they learn. Excellent facilities,
a flexible learning plan and almost 1 to 1 tuition from a trainer who wants them
to succeed. We have a 100% pass-rate for students who have taken IAB examinations
with us. Something of which we are very proud and want to continue!
Most students attend one two-hour session per week. You can commence a course whenever
you want to because the IAB stage examinations throughout the year.
Our courses are competitively priced at approximately £175 per course. Although
students who enrol for additional courses usually receive substantial discounts.
You will be required to purchase text books for approximately £20 and your examination
fees start from £30. There are no more hidden costs.
We encourage all of our potential students to arrange a visit to see our training
facilities, meet their tutor and discuss/assess their training needs. We feel it
is very important that our students are 100% certain that the course they are about
to undertake is the right one for them. We feel this has contributed significantly
to our students 100% success rate in examinations. We offer the personal touches
that colleges can't.
